Terms of Use
Last updated: July 18, 2026
These terms are the deal between you and RumbleTab. Use the app or the website and you're agreeing to them. They're written to be read, not to hide things: short sections, plain words, no traps. The full End User License Agreement, the operative contract with every clause spelled out, lives at rumbletab.com/eula.
1. What RumbleTab is
RumbleTab is a scorekeeping companion for in-person card nights. It records scores, standings, and badges, and gives your table a shared feed to talk in. It is not gambling software: there is no wagering, no currency, and nothing of monetary value to win, lose, or buy. Scores, badges, and bragging rights have no cash value, no matter how hard they're defended.
2. Who can play
You must be at least 13 years old. If the law where you live sets a higher age for agreeing to terms like these, that age applies instead.
3. Your account
- You sign in with your phone number; keep it current and don't share access codes or passwords.
- Your account is yours: don't impersonate other people, and don't use someone else's account without their say-so.
- You're responsible for what happens under your account.
4. Your content
- You own what you post. Comments, your profile details, and anything else you contribute stay yours.
- You give us the license we need to run the game: a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and transmit your content to the other players at your table, and to back it up. That's what the license is for and nothing else: we don't sell your content or use it for ads.
- Your table sees it. Content you post is visible to the other players in your games. Post accordingly.
5. Table manners
Trash talk is the point. Cruelty isn't. When you post or play, you agree not to:
- harass, threaten, or degrade other players: roast the discard, not the person;
- post content that's illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, or that violates someone else's rights (including their privacy and their copyrights);
- impersonate anyone, or misrepresent where content came from;
- attempt to break, probe, overload, scrape, or reverse engineer the service, or use it to build a competing dataset;
- use the service for any commercial purpose without our written permission.
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users at this table. Post it and it goes; do it twice and you go.
6. Moderation, reporting, and enforcement
- We may remove any content and suspend or terminate any account that breaks these terms, at our discretion, with or without notice. The table's health outranks any single player.
- Three tools stand between you and the worst of the room: a filter screens comments and names for objectionable language before they are posted, a flag on every comment and profile lets you report it from inside the app, and a block hides a player and everything they have posted from your view, instantly and everywhere.
- Reports are acted on within 24 hours: offending content comes down and repeat offenders are ejected. You can also email support@rumbletab.com.
- We're a small operation, not a court: our moderation calls are final.
7. Our stuff
The app, the website, the RumbleTab name and wordmark, the artwork, the 56 characters, and the badges are ours (or licensed to us). These terms give you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app for its intended purpose; they don't give you the right to copy, resell, or reuse our content elsewhere.
8. The app stores
When you install RumbleTab from Apple's App Store, Apple's standard terms and licensed-application EULA also apply to the download itself. Apple isn't responsible for the service and isn't a party to these terms.
9. Leaving the table
You can stop using RumbleTab at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account and data (see the Privacy Policy). We can suspend or end accounts as described in section 6. Sections that by their nature should survive (4, 7, 10, 11) survive.
10. No warranties
RumbleTab is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't promise the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that your winning streak will continue.
11. Limits on liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, RumbleTab and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, or lost dignity, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is capped at fifty US dollars (USD $50) or the amount you paid us in the last twelve months, whichever is greater. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.
12. Changes
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll update this page and the date at the top, and flag it in the app where reasonable. Continuing to use RumbleTab after a change means you accept it.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which RumbleTab's operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes go to the courts of that state, unless the law where you live gives you a non-waivable right to something else.
14. SMS score claims
- RumbleTab sends a one-time transactional score-claim text only after the intended recipient explicitly requests it. One message is sent per request; there are no recurring or promotional texts under this program.
- Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to cancel. You can also contact support@rumbletab.com or call +1 (202) 742-4986.
- A table member entering another person's number does not provide that person's consent. Do not request a text for a number you do not use.
